This model represents a remarkable fusion of elegance and performance. Its sleek design and cutting-edge technology redefine safety standards on the Formula 1 track. With its state-of-the-art features and the powerful hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, the Vantage Safety Car promises an adrenaline-pumping experience for drivers and spectators alike.

The car has various modifications in comparison to a standard road version. Along with the inclusion of the FIA light cluster positioned on the roof and the central console inside, its aerodynamics have been enhanced for better performance. The front splitter, rear wing, a more aerodynamic FIA-spec lightbar up top, and underfloor aero have all undergone revisions.

Aston Martin’s chief technology officer described the car as “the fastest and most driver-focused Vantage yet, which makes it perfect for this unique job so to turn it into an Official FIA Safety Car of Formula 1 was primarily a task of adding all of the FIA equipment.

“Of course, it has additional aero not found on the road car to make sure it can attack the race track and showcase the capabilities of our newest ultra-luxury high-performance car.”

Bernd Mayländer, FIA Safety Car Driver who is beginning his 25th year as the FIA’s F1 Safety Car driver, said his “first impressions were very positive as I could immediately feel the improvement in handling and, of course, power.”

Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of Aston Martin, said: “Vantage is the very essence of the Aston Martin brand, so to see the fastest, most driver-focused Vantage yet play such an important role in the prestigious FIA Formula One World Championship™ is a source of great pride for us.
